FREE G for Gecko Colouring-in Page Download

This download is inspired by the geckos at the Zealandia Ecosanctuary in Karori.

Known as the Moko kakariki / Wellington Green Gecko or Barking Gecko because when they are threatened they make a defensive barking call!

Some facts about these geckos:
– they are active in daytime
– they are often found in forest and shrub
– they can live for more than 45 years
– NZ geckos play a vital role in plant pollination, especially flax and pohutukawa
– they spread seeds by eating fruit
– they primarily feed on insects. Yum!
