Bronze Mango Matiatia Harbour, Waiheke was created from a personal experience shared with Jayne, our daughter Coco and the Land whanau while out fishing, avid boaties on our last trip out the boat was surrounded by five Bronze Whaler Sharks, it was an incredible and awesome for us all to be safely that close. The full series of emboss prints is from the collection of artworks created for my Reading Middens, Tracing Lines exhibition at the close of my residency at Waiheke Community Art Gallery, 16 September – 17 October 2016.
